Custom Copper Table 77x44x1.5 "Mission" for LC

This base was designed by the customer who wanted a modern look and then created by a master craftsman. We liked it so much that we have made it a standard. It is a sturdy base that provides plenty of leg room. It can be made for large tables and smaller tables. The copper table top is 77x44x1.5 and is in the Natural patina. However, I am a bit of a nitpicker and would have been happier if the ironsmith would have taken the time to grind down some of the welding bumps at the corners where the bars meet. On another point, I couldn't find the envelope with the 1-1/4" wood screws. No big deal, but can you let me know the size number (I assume they are No. 10 or 8 screws) Another question, is how to clean the surface. There was a layer of residue on the table (black dust). Can I use mild soap and water, followed by a copper polish? I don't want to use any strong cleaner. Overall, it is a beautiful addition to our home and a very stylish piece.
