Cut a 1" to 2" piece from a length of 1 1/2" SCH 40 PVC pipe for use as a shim. Apply the shim just below the lavatory. See photo. Silicon sealant may be needed between the lav and the PVC pipe. Be sure that the PVC cut is made so that it is straight and very smooth.
